Rose Petal Ceremony Slated for November

The Branson Veterans Task Force is privileged to celebrate and honor women veterans during Veterans Homecoming Week, November 5th - 11th 2008.

We invite all women veterans and those that support them to attend the Rose Petal Ceremony to be held at College of the Ozarks with Air Force CMSgt Stephenie Cordoza as the guest speaker.

The Rose Petal Ceremony is a moving tribute acknowledging women from each branch of service who have served and a special way to honor the women who have given their lives for their country. At this two bell ceremony rose petals will be handed out to attending women veterans and guests. The public will then be invited to drop petals in the fountain for others who have sacrificed their lives in defense of our nation.

Directly following the ceremony, participants are invited to a luncheon, time and location TBD.

To register, please contact Barb Riggle, Treasurer/Women Veterans Committee.
